Amerplast COO Reima Kerttula retiring
(Tampere 31.7.2017) Reima Kerttula, COO of Amerplast has decided to retire from his operational duties as of August 1st, 2017. Kerttula will remain a non-executive member of the Amerplast Board and in this role will continue with his valuable contributions to the company.
Kerttula joined Amerplast in 2013. When Lonsdale Capital Partners acquired Amerplast in July 2014, he agreed to continue to drive efficiency and capex programs for a three year period.
Following Kerttula’s retirement the Amerplast CEO Børge Kvamme will take over the management responsibilities and Tuomo Riihimäki, Plant Manager Tampere & Ikaalinen, will take over operational responsibilities and is appointed Production Director as of August 1st, reporting to Kvamme. Amerplast Leadership Team as of August will consist of CEO Børge Kvamme, CFO Iska Nirviö, Group Sales & R&D Director Ari-Pekka Pietilä and Production Director Tuomo Riihimäki.
